The KTL180 reliably detects contrast differences even at high machine speeds. Thanks to its 31.2 kHz switching frequency, a high grayscale resolution and manual switching threshold adjustment, the KTL180 makes for safe object detection.

Reliable detection with extremely thin design
The smart light grid product family includes smart area sensors, smart gate sensors and smart pick-to-light-sensor light grids. At only 8 mm x 25 mm, they fit nearly anywhere and can be embedded inside walls, doors, conveyors, and machines. Slim and flat versions are available.

More flexibility and efficient communication
The AS30 array sensor operates on the proximity scanning principle. It detects even the slightest differences in grayscale values within the field-of-view. Positioning of, for example, a paper web based on the web edge or a contrast line is only one of many possible applications.
